Sup!
Exams.
Just the word provokes a sinking, dull, makes-me-want-to-scream-out-loud feeling inside of me. It's not so much the exams that are the problem. It's the revision.
Somewhere, in every British teenagers bedroom, in the midst of a stationery explosion and hiding between piles of textbooks, is a teenager, studying hard for their next exam. They've spent long hours, as have I, going over and over the same sentences, until the words on the page blend and don't even look like words anymore.
Unlike a lot of people my age, I'm pretty organised when it comes to revision. I write up revision timetables and plan my time effectively. My only problem is that I'm never motivated enough to stick to the timetables, schedules and general organisation. All it takes is one tiny distraction, like a knock at the door, and I have to physically drag myself back to my bedroom. Everything, even housework, seems so much more interesting when you're bored out of your mind because of revision.
However, I guess it's a good way to save some money up, seeing as you have no time to go anywhere or do anything.
What do you think?
Peace and Love x
